Potter only took over after Thomas Tuchel was dismissed in September. The former Brighton boss got off to a great start with a nine-game unbeaten run across the Premier League and Champions League. But Chelsea’s form dipped near the end of October, with the Blues getting hammered 4-1 by Brighton 4-1 before a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal. Potter’s men then crashed out of the Carabao Cup with a 2-0 loss to Manchester City and then lost 1-0 to Newcastle United.
